Mongolian Felt Slippers

These felt slippers are Mongolian classics.

While in Ulaanbaatar, Nasa, one of the girls in my program, and I attended a felt making workshop, organized by a felt making cooperative. Nasa learned how to make these felt slippers to support her need for cash income.

Nasa is combing the dyed wool to make felt.

The women of the felt cooperative with Nasa.

Here are some of the slippers she helped making:

The Mongolian classic!

This is a modern design for childrn's slippers, all materials are animal products

Unresistable baby slippers!

All materials used are organic (even so that distinction doesn’t exist in Mongolia, because they don’t know anything but what we call organic), the dye used is according to American health safety regulations.
